Twindy (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a camera app for iPhone. We believe your content is yours. This document explains what information the app does and does not process.
1. What we collect
Nothing by default. Twindy does not collect, transmit, or store personal information on any server we control. The app does not contain third-party analytics, advertising or attribution SDKs in its first release.
The only data that enters the app is the data you create with it (video and audio you record), and it stays on your device unless you choose to share or export it.
2. Device permissions
- Camera — required to record video from the front and back cameras.
- Microphone — required to capture audio alongside video.
- Photo Library (Add only) — required to save recordings you choose to export.
- Photo Library (Read) — optional; requested only if you import a clip to combine with a recording.
You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
3. Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not see your payment details. Apple shares with us an anonymized receipt so we can verify your active entitlement locally on your device.
4. Crash diagnostics
If you opt in to share diagnostics with Apple in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share with App Developers, we may receive anonymous crash reports through Apple’s MetricKit. These reports do not contain personal content.
5. Data retention and deletion
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Recordings saved to your Photo Library can be removed by you at any time inside the Photos app.
6. Children
Twindy is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
